We are a nation founded by immigrants. Bold men and women left their homes and families, braved incredible dangers and endured terrible hardships to come to this continent and create a new way of life in the wilderness.

The descendants of those hardy and self-reliant pioneers have become content, and many of them have accepted a dogma which teaches that this country owes them, and them alone, a life free of work and competition.

This nation owes nothing more and nothing less than life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This country is open to any who would work to enjoy the fruits of prosperity.

No one is too good to have to compete in the pursuit of happiness. Your ancestors may have come over on the Mayflower itself. That did not grant them any special rights — and it does not grant you any special rights.

This country needs the infusion of strong new blood from a new generation of hardy pioneers. These new pioneers will help bring prosperity to this nation much as our own ancestors did several hundred years ago.
